Abstract:
The objective of this study was to explore the effectiveness of instructional software on the achievement of 8th basic grade students in the computer course in Jordan. The study followed the quasi-experimental methodology. The subjects consisted of (60) 8th grade students at Makkah basic school for girls in Al-Zarqa Governorate in Jordan, during the first semester 2019/2020.
Two sections were selected and were randomly divided into two groups, one experimental group consisting of 30 female students who studied using instructional software, and the other control group consisting of 30 students who studied in the traditional way.
