A Study Of Distributive Education Students' Perceptions And Attitudes Toward Secondary Distributive Education Teachers In Utah, Wallace J. Levere

The purpose of this study was to mea sure secondary distributive education students' perceptions and attitudes toward their teacher coordinators in the Utah secondary schools . The student scores were then analyzed to determine if there were any differences which may be attributed to a specific teacher characteristic such as age, sex, teaching experience, vocational work experience, and academic preparation.

The Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) and Phi Beta Lambda (PBL) organizations serve the business youth of today--the business leaders of tomorrow. These organizations, founded by Hamden L. forkner, have been in existence since 1942. The first FBLA chapter was chartered at Johnson City, Tennessee; and the first PBL chapter was charted at Iowa State Teachers College, Cedar Falls, (now the University of Northern Iowa).1

Chapter growth has been rapid with the latest figures showing 4,587 FBLA chapters and 461 PBL chapters now in existence in 44 states and 3 territories.2
