A study exploring four modes of giving feedback to student writing in a first-year composition course. The focus discusses ways the different modes impact student writing and revision. It also examines one classroom where each of these modes were implemented, how these different modes were implemented, and the outcome of each mode on student attitudes toward the writing and revision process.

An Adult High School Diploma: Its Importance, Its Future, Melissa J. Chaffee
Culminating Projects in Teacher Development
This study looks at the importance of obtaining an adult high school diploma. As the population of adults needing educational programs increases, we are faced with more and more funding constraints. This survey continues in the same predilection as earlier research: to protect and increase funding. A 10-question survey was created to determine the relevance of receiving an adult high school diploma. Results were obtained by sending surveys to 232 past graduates of adult high school diploma programs in St. Paul, MN. Surveys were returned by 115 graduates, a nearly 50% return rate.
