Organizational effectiveness is the goal of organizations competing in the changing landscape of global business (Colquitt, LePine, Wesson, 2009). While profitability sustains a firm financially, the well-being of the human capital of the organization is equally important to ensure competitiveness (Carpenter & Sanders, 2008). Collins (2001) posited that effective strategic leaders are those with the capabilities to drive the transformations of the firm into new and profitable models.
