(R2054) Convergence Of Lagrange-Hermite Interpolation Using Non-Uniform Nodes On The Unit Circle, Swarnima Bahadur, Sameera Iqram, Varun .

Applications and Applied Mathematics: An International Journal (AAM)

In this research article, we brought into consideration the set of non-uniformly distributed nodes on the unit circle to investigate a Lagrange-Hermite interpolation problem. These nodes are obtained by projecting vertically the zeros of Jacobi polynomial onto the unit circle along with the boundary points of the unit circle on the real line. Explicitly representing the interpolatory polynomial as well as establishment of convergence theorem are the key highlights of this manuscript. The result proved are of interest to approximation theory.

The authors examined the predictive relationship between role stress elements (role ambiguity and role conflict) and the perceived general self-efficacy of primary school counselors’ ability to effectively implement a comprehensive counseling program. A standard multiple regression technique was computed to test whether a relationship exists between role stress elements (role conflict and role ambiguity) of primary school counselors and their perceived general self-efficacy scores. The predictor variable role ambiguity and role conflict accounted for 8.6% (Adjusted = 6.5%) of the variance in the criterion variable perceived general self-efficacy scores.

A fully developed laminar steady flow of an incompressible, viscous fluid in a horizontal cylindrical pipe is considered here. Flow patterns for an incompressible, viscous fluid for both Newtonian and non-Newtonian fluids such as shear-thinning, shear-thickening and Bingham plastic fluids are analyzed in this study. Assuming that the flow is only due to the wall shear stress and the pressure drop, the velocity component in the axial direction for these cases is derived. Black women’s body image is influenced by several factors but when women have breast cancer, a “new normal” extends from diagnosis to long after reconstruction. This pilot study examines Black women’s breast cancer experience beginning with social networks, diagnosis, health care, the medical community, and breast reconstruction, ending with PTSD and Post Traumatic Growth (PTG). A convenience sample was surveyed and a qualitative research methodology was utilized to analyze responses from Black female breast cancer survivors.
