In the second half of the fourteenth century, a large Timurid state was formed with its center in Movorunnakhr. The founder of this state was the great statesman and commander Amir Temur. He united many neighboring countries and founded the great Timurid state. It included Movarounnahr, Khorasan, Khorezm, the former Golden Horde, India, Iran and Turkey. The Timurid state was highly developed politically, economically and culturally. Timur attached great importance to the development of the country, especially Movarounnahr, its founder.
