In technical services, workflows are critical for ensuring that resources are made available for patrons in a consistent and efficient manner. When a library undergoes major changes, it is critical to ensure that processes are going to be maintained or altered to meet the new needs of the library. From 2018 to 2019, William Allen White Library, at Emporia State University tackled multiple transitions in their technical services department by creating a change management process that walked them through the development of a new workflow.
