A new study shows lead contamination in ground venison harvested in Illinois. Given Harper, Professor of Biology at IWU, discusses the findings of his study with Charlie Schlenker from WGLT. The study was co-authored with IWU Professor of Environmental Studies Aaron Schultz Wilson, Professor of Chemistry Manori Perera, alum Genevieve Alexander, and veterinarian Matt Fraker. The study has been published in The Bulletin of Environmental Contamination and Toxicology.
