The main purpose of this research study was to explore the use of instructional histories as learning disabled students progress through school. The study is confined to the area of reading histories. A review of the literature provides evidence to support the use of instructional histories as a basis for the curriculum planning for learning disabled students. The literature focuses on the areas of effective curriculum development and differences in the learning styles of LD students.
