Developing A Tool For Evaluating The Fellowship Of University Faculty Members, Muhammad Dirani

This study aimed at developing an instrument to assess faculty collegiality. After reviewing the related literature, and similar tools, an instrument consisted of (29) items distributed into three domains was constructed: (Altruism, 12 items), (Civility, 10 items) and (Courtesy, 7 items). The validity and reliability of the instrument were established by using content validity, Cronbach – Alpha equation, test-retest, and factor analysis. To find the applicability of the instrument, it was reviewed by a panel of ten full professors who have had held university administrative positions.
