Strategic Plan Documents
In 2020 a strategic plan began taking shape from UGA Law Library, in support of the emerging strategic plans from the School of Law and the University of Georgia. This five year plan states that, "The Law Library’s overall objective is to support the Law School’s strategic goals by providing exceptional instruction, research, resources, and data analytics. The Law Library supports the University and the Law School in achieving all three strategic directions for the 2020 – 2025 fiscal years."

Strategic Plan Documents
This 12-page strategic plan includes a detailed roadmap for the University of Georgia School of Law. Various strategic planning groups and committees worked to craft this plan beginning in 2019, and to refine and approve it over the course of 2020 when the University shared its own strategic planning documents. The School of Law shared the draft with faculty and staff by way of the law school's portal as a PDF on July 14, 2020, and later submitted the plan to the University of Georgia in October of 2020. The School of Law plan was later distributed to faculty and …
A Strategic Plan To Thread Genomics Competencies Into Undergraduate Curriculum, Holly Mathis
A Strategic Plan To Thread Genomics Competencies Into Undergraduate Curriculum, Holly Mathis
Dissertations
Problem: Genomics in undergraduate nursing education has experienced slow adoption in the United States. Various approaches have been proposed but do not address barriers to successful implementation.
Methods: A strategic plan was developed to increase the amount of genetics and genomic content in the curriculum of an undergraduate nursing program. A gap analysis was performed on the curriculum revealing a paucity of content. A SWOT analysis informed the strategic plan, which included a faculty education program using the ANA/ISONG’s Essentials of Genetic and Genomic Nursing: Competencies, Curricula Guidelines and Outcome Indicators (2nd ed.) (2009) as a foundation.
Results: Faculty …

Academic Chairpersons Conference Proceedings
Strategic planning is often met with skepticism. Too often, this process goes nowhere and changes nothing. The leadership team from Bowling Green State University’s College of Education and Human Development share a collaborative strategic process focused on building a common college identity, concrete actions, and a collective sense of accountability.

An Organizational Improvement Plan: Implementing Service Learning Into The Curriculum At An International School To Meet An Organization’S Strategic Aims, Deanna Milne
The Dissertation-in-Practice at Western University
The problem of practice for this OIP is that School X set strategic aims in 2013, and in 2018, two have still not been met. These aims included opportunities for students to develop leadership skills, and provide a learning-based approach to service. School X has a structure in place that offers the opportunity to build on an existing service-learning program, and further integrate service learning into the curriculum. This OIP uses the Change Path Model to propose structural changes within the organization. It utilises inclusive and democratic approaches to leading change that highlight two-way dialogue (Ryan, 2016, as cited in …

Making Room For Change: Rightsizing Psu’S Axe Library Serials Collection, Barbara M. Pope
Kansas Library Association College and University Libraries Section Proceedings
Print serials collection development has long been a traditional role of academic librarians. However, in the last 20 years, academic libraries’ print serials ownership has declined and online access has begun to take its place, both partially due to concerns with flat or declining budgets as well as lack of space and the need to repurpose this limited space. Pittsburg State University’s Axe Library faces the challenge of balancing its print and electronic serials collections at a university whose programs sometimes do not draw enough on library resources. In an effort to create a meaningful discovery experience for the university …
