This qualitative case study interrogated the use of digital technologies in Tera CPTC (pseudonym) in Northwestern Uganda under three research questions, namely: (1) What are the digital technologies teacher educators use to improve ECTE at Tera (pseudonym) CPTC? (2) How do teacher educators use digital technologies to improve Early Childhood Teacher Education? (3) What challenges do the ECE teacher educators face with the use of digital technologies to improve teaching and learning at Tera CPTC? The lived experiences of female high school physics teachers were researched in this study with the aim of gaining a better understanding of their decisions to remain in the classroom or to leave the teaching profession. To allow the participants to describe their background and teaching experiences, as well as the meaning they found in them, a transcendental phenomenological approach was used during this research. To prepare students for an increasingly interconnected world, P-12 teachers must be trained to infuse intercultural and global perspectives into their teaching practice. However, teacher education programs (TEPs) have been criticized for their lack of global perspectives in the curriculum and have been found to be the least internationalized programs at United States (U.S.) universities. Though university senior international officers (SIOs) play a large role in developing a strategic approach toward curriculum internationalization, there is a paucity of research on their perspectives on this process.
