Statistics anxiety is an issue for many students, particularly those in degree programs in the social sciences. These students may have very limited mathematics or statistics backgrounds and may experience negative attitudes or feelings of anxiety when faced with taking a statistics course. The scientometrics method and a total of 7536 published documents were found. The results reveal that the topic of academic performance and article as a type of published document was highly used. This study investigates the effect that Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) had on academic performance using a difference-in-differences (DID) estimator using data from the years 2006–2016. By obtaining data from the Ohio Department of Education and the Ohio Facilities Construction Commission, this investigation examines the effect that LEED design had on the Student Performance Index for schools that opened in the year 2012. Each LEED school was matched with a non-LEED school based on several criteria. The study determined that LEED did not have an impact on the Student Performance Index. In this study, the researchers investigated whether chronological age differences had an impact on the academic performance of students in first grade. Twenty-nine (29) first-grade students were assessed and observed. Their teachers also provided data on their performance through interviews and grade reports. Participating students ranged in age from seventy-three (73) to ninety-two (92) months. Performance data was collected for the core subjects of mathematics and reading in both numerical and narrative forms. Data was then analyzed for relevant patterns. Many victims of childhood maltreatment experience difficulties in school and with academic performance. This article reviews the evidence on the connection between child- hood maltreatment and school performance and presents an evaluation of a unique program established by Children's Services in Lorain County, Ohio. Since 2001, the School Success Program, in collaboration with 18 Ohio public school districts, has provided individual tutoring and mentoring by certified teachers to 615 maltreated children and youths, working closely with the whole family in an in-home setting. Further, she investigated for any interaction between an overall low average and a specific learning disability. This study investigates the predictability of social interaction and academic interaction to academic performance. Descriptive analysis, multiple regression analysis, factor analysis and correlation analysis of data provided by 71 students who are Vietnamese Government Scholarship Recipients in graduate programs all over the United States indicate that socio-academic interaction can be used as predictors of students' academic performance but only 15% of the predicted variance is explained by the model.
