Our teaching analytics tool, is a responsive web application that consists of three main sections. The topic modelling section consists of the determination of main topics and topic relationships within text data such as class discussions or research articles through a Linear Discriminant Analysis (LDA) machine learning model. Initial data undergoes a number of preprocessing steps including removal of duplicates and outliers, lemmatization, and filtering by frequency and Term Frequency - Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF) scores before various visualizations are created.
