This statistical study was made to determine whether there have been any trends in the employment of youth in the Richmond Metropolitan Area from the year 1960 through 1966. A request was made by the principal of John Marshall High School to the guidance staff that experimentation be done in the area of group counseling. The writer, who had previously served on the guidance staff and subsequently as a teacher, agreed to coordinate the experiment. In addition to the coordinator, two teachers and two counselors assisted in the implementation and performance of the experiment.
