This study investigated the effect of academic library on pre-service teachers’ academic achievement. Based on the purpose of the study two research questions and two null hypotheses were formulated and tested at 0.05 level of significance. Quasi experimental design was adopted for this study. The population of the study comprised of all the pre-service teachers in the department of Arts and Social Science Education, Ebonyi State University. The governments of emerging economies have realized the potential of MOOCs for enhancing the quality of higher education, but still, the MOOC penetration is very low in countries like India. This study explores the issues relating to MOOC integration and attempts to identify the key drivers for the adoption of MOOC based curriculum. 'Integration into Curriculum', 'MOOC Services of Academic Library', and 'MHRD Policy and Support' are identified as the key drivers for increasing the MOOC Penetration. The main aim of this study was to analyze the contents and interactivity of academic library portals in India. The study was confined to a hundred selected academic library websites. A checklist along with a data sheet was used as the tool for data collection and Microsoft Excel was used as the tool for data analysis. The analysis revealed that the websites have an almost identical pattern of contents and interactivity. The majority of the websites used interactive applications. Facebook is the most preferred application followed by Twitter, YouTube, and LinkedIn. The websites preferred the extreme top right corner of …
