Scientific & Technological Perspective: Future Of Energy Storage With Graphene Oxide (Go), Radhey Shyam Meena

Radhey Shyam Meena

Graphene is a 2D “flat-mat” consisting of a honeycomb-like structure of carbon atoms with sp2 bonding character for each carbon. It exhibits excellent electrical conductivity and mechanical strength, and can be synthesized in a number of ways. Most syntheses involve first oxidizing graphite to Graphene Oxide (GO), Functional and synthesis diversity of Graphene Oxide (GO) has led to various fundamental and applied scientific explorations. GO can be viewed as an in-plane, hybrid 2D lattice consisting of sp2 and sp3 carbon regions. Engineering the type and distribution of sp3 regions can tune the physical properties of resultant GO. This paper reviews …

Grid Connected Roof Top Solar Power Generation: A Review, Radhey Shyam Meena

Radhey Shyam Meena

India is blessed with rich solar energy and if exploited efficiently, the country has the potential of producing trillionkilowatts of electricity. Sunlight is converted to electricity directly when made to fall on solar photovoltaic (SPV) modules. Systems /devices are made for various applications based on SPV modules connected with suitably designed power conditioning units for meeting electricity requirements. These systems/devices are designed to work in offgrid mode (usually supported with batteries to allow use when sunlight is low or during night). In recent years solar PV systems became viable and attractive. Utility scale plants are being set up worldwide with …

Wireless Transmission Network : A Imagine, Radhey Shyam Meena

Radhey Shyam Meena

World cannot be imagined without electrical power. Generally the power is transmitted through transmission networks. This paper describes an original idea to eradicate the hazardous usage of electrical wires which involve lot of confusion in particularly organizing them. Imagine a future in which wireless power transfer is feasible: cell phones, household robots, mp3 players, laptop computers and other portable electronic devices capable of charging themselves without ever being plugged in freeing us from that final ubiquitous power wire. This paper includes the techniques of transmitting power without using wires with an efficiency of about 95% with non-radioactivemethods. In this paper …
