The purpose of this study was to explore the quality of community sports distribution service through the evaluation and satisfaction of the elderly in Yangpu District of Shanghai on the quality of community sports service and explore the relationship between the quality of community sports distribution service, satisfaction, and behavioral intention. Data were collected by using surveys and analyzed using mathematical statistics. The survey refers to SERVPERF model to design a six-dimension, intermediary variable satisfaction and behavioral intention five-point scale for the service quality of community sports distribution. Through the lens of Expectation Disconfirmation Theory and with consideration of other event experience factors, our study examines how strategic concessions changes implemented by the Arthur M. Blank (AMB) Group with the building of Mercedes-Benz Stadium affect the fan experience at its professional sport events. These changes differ significantly from operational practices at most sport venues, with emphasis on eliminating bottlenecks to increase throughput and allowing for reduced costs without negatively affecting quality. Conspicuous consumption is when consumers acquire luxury goods and services to help publicly demonstrate their desired economic and social status. Even though conspicuous consumption can help individuals experience social distinction and a heightened sense of self-esteem, much still needs to be known about this occurrence in the context of sport. Despite rapid evolution and innovation, “online learning” is no longer a universal term. There is a need to expand the existing research base to include subsets of online classrooms and include more diverse populations of learners. The overarching question for this study focused on synchronous online classroom satisfaction in a corporate setting. The researcher analyzed four years of historical learner-satisfaction data from post-class Level-1 satisfaction surveys from a Fortune 100 company. The purpose of this study was to explore individual’s perceptions of orthotics and footwear. A survey was created by the authors with the expert opinions of physical and occupational therapists and was distributed to two therapy clinics in Tennessee that provide both occupational therapy and physical therapy as well as on several online support groups. Seventy-nine (79) caregivers completed surveys. Thematic analysis was performed using Nvivo 10 (QSR International) and descriptive statistics were generated using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) IBM International). Sport management programs often partner with intercollegiate athletic departments or community sport organizations to provide student volunteers. Motivating, satisfying, and retaining the student population may constitute a challenge for academic program stakeholders. The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between motivation, satisfaction, and retention of volunteers at undergraduate sport management programs. Three hundred and twenty-two undergraduate students from five Midwestern institutions completed a 46-item questionnaire assessing their volunteer motivation, satisfaction, and retention. Results indicated students were predominantly motivated to volunteer by Love of Sport and Career motivation factors. The Effect Of Fans’ Attitudes On Sponsorship Outcomes: Evidence From An Exploratory Study In Greece, Pantelis Nassis, Nicholas D. Theodorakis, Yannis Afthinos, Haralambos Kolybalis

Journal of Applied Sport Management

This study examines the effect of sport involvement and fans’ beliefs about sponsorship on certain sponsorship outcomes in the context of professional basketball. Quantitative data were collected from a survey of 222 spectators attending a professional basketball game in Greece. A confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) was employed to examine the validity of the scale. Overall, the examination of the structural parameters indicated that attitude towards sponsors was significantly predicted by sport involvement and beliefs about sponsorship, while it significantly predicted purchase intentions, word of mouth, and fans’ satisfaction from the use of sponsor’s products.
