The Benefits Of Open Educational Resources (Oers) For Faculty And Students, Larry Sheret, Lindsey M. Harper

We will identify the pros and cons of switching from a traditional textbook to an OER. After the Q&A, we will work with the participants to locate an OER textbook that each participant will evaluate for possible adoption. This session is most suited to faculty who are teaching lower division General Education classes with a large number of students enrolled in a lecture or in multiple sections.
