Since Covid-19, there has been a tendency to isolate and keep to oneself. In an effort to decrease loneliness, evidence has found that wisdom can be a protective factor against loneliness. Older adults who were either married or cohabiting and were well-educated reported feeling fairly to very happy. Some additional factors associated with happiness were older age and a postgraduate degree. There are benefits of intergenerational interactions with people with wisdom. This study explored participants' socialization, loneliness, and intergenerational interactions.

This presentation will describe the FARM STEW Certified Home study and participants current health practices. The majority of the participants reported that they had a tippy tap (sink with soap or ash). Many had a garden growing fresh vegetables and were participating in the savings account/ VSLA.

The purpose of this literature review is to address how internalized and externalized behaviors in adolescents impact academic achievement in faith-based institutions. This research intends to bring awareness to the prevalence of mental health concerns faced by adolescents, as well as the need for mental health services in the education system. This research will also identify the relationship between internalizing and externalizing behaviors, and academic achievement. This presentation highlights findings from a study exploring student perceptions of spirituality and contributing to their community after participating in an emergency preparedness interprofessional simulation. Mixed methods were utilized and an online survey was emailed to a convenience sample (N=338). The majority self-reported they can better contribute to their community.

The proposed research study is a part of 2017 Church Member Global Survey that provides relevant data on EUD members regarding their faith and convictions, spiritual life related behaviors and habits, in-group and out-group attitudes that translate into community oriented and mission oriented behaviors and initiatives.

The research has been carried out on a representative sample of the EUD members from 10 out of its 11 Unions. The research results are part of the preliminary report describing the main trends in EUD regarding membership, attitudes, beliefs and behaviors directly related to the SDA core values.
