Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji keefektifan model pembelajaran Connecting, Organizing, Reflecting, Extending (CORE) dengan strategi konflik kognitif ditinjau dari prestasi belajar, berpikir kritis, dan self-efficacy siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi experiment dengan pretest-posttest nonequivalent group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 3 Yogyakarta dan dipilih secara acak kelas VIII-C (n = 32) dan Kelas VIII-F (n = 33) sebagai sampel penelitian. One sample t-test digunakan untuk menguji keefektifan model CORE dengan strategi konflik kognitif dan model konvensional, sedangkan untuk menguji perbedaan keefektifan model pembelajaran digunakan uji Manova (Hotteling's Trace). Literasi Matematis Dan Self-Efficacy Siswa Ditinjau Dari Perbedaan Kebijakan Sistem Zonasi, Ahmad Muhazir, Kana Hidayati, Heri Retnawati

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mendeskripsikan kemampuan literasi matematis dan self-efficacy siswa kelas XI SMA; (2) mendeskripsikan dampak perbedaan kebijakan sistem zonasi terhadap kemampuan literasi matematis dan self-efficacy siswa kelas XI SMA; dan (3) mendeskripsikan hubungan antara literasi matematis dan self-efficacy siswa kelas XI SMA. Penelitian survei ini melibatkan 346 siswa dari Kota Banjarmasin dan 321 siswa dari Kota Palangka Raya. Kedua kota tersebut memiliki kebijakan zonasi yang berbeda. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes dan angket yang telah memenuhi kriteria valid dan reliabel. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah statistik deskriptif dan inferensial. From an early age, teachers should expose students to high-quality STEM education to allow them to explore and discover phenomena. In order to prepare students, teachers must be able to assist students and facilitate the inquiry process. Unfortunately, elementary teachers often have low self-efficacy regarding inquiry-based science and resort to instruction that is not supported by research. Informal STEM learning opportunities offered outside of the structured school day have been gaining popularity in today’s STEM-oriented culture. These are venues where children and their families gather to engage and explore in science, technology, engineering, and math —together. For a number of years, faculty from the College of Education at Tennessee Tech University have been promoting these events for the local community, free of charge, to encourage and foster a love for STEM Education.
