This research aims to determine the prospective science teachers' mastery level of science process skills (SPS), the mastery level of SPS indicators, and the prospective science teachers' mastery level of SPS based on gender. This study used a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. Purposive sampling techniques are used and obtain 23 prospective science teachers during the last two years at the Universitas Negeri Manado. The research instrument used interview guidelines and observation sheets. The Effect Of Science Process Skills Of Students Argumentation Skills, Darmaji Darmaji, Astalini Astalini, Dwi Agus Kurniawan, Elza Triani

This study aims to compare students' learning skills in each class and students' argumentative abilities in each class and to determine the effect of students' science process skills on students' argumentation abilities. This type of research uses the mixed method with an explanatory design. The samples of this study were 70 students of class 11 science, with the sampling technique of simple random sampling. The results of data analysis using parametric statistics t-test (2-tailed) obtained sig. value 0.034 < 0.05, so it can be said that the students' argumentative abilities in XI A and IPA B are different, and for the variable science process skills, the sig. is 0.043 < 0.05, so each class's science process skills are different. The results of the regression test obtained the results of the sig value of 0.025 in class XI A, and class XI B obtained a sig value of 0.030, where the value of sig < 0.05 which means that science process skills affect the students' argumentation skills. The study confirms that the improvement of scientific skills will make student better at conveying arguments.

The study examines the effectiveness of a multiple representation module based on discovery learning in enhancing students' critical thinking. The study used a quasi-experiment design with a 2×2 design analysis. The subjects were 114 students with high and low science process skills from Sleman district's class VII Islamic Junior High Schools. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran IPA berbasis discovery learning terintegrasi jajanan lokal daerah terhadap keterampilan proses sains. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VIII SMP N1 Cangkringan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persentase tingkat penguasaan keterampilan proses sains siswa SMA se-Kecamatan Bukit Kecil dan Ilir Barat I Palembang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menggunakan soal pilihan ganda beralasan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Alat Peraga Kit Optik Serbaguna yang dapat meningkatkan Keterampilan Proses Sains siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian eksperimen, dengan subjek penelitiannya adalah siswa kelas VIII H SMP N 1 Semarang. Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi tes, angket, dan lembar observasi. Data yang di analisis berupa hasil penerapan dalam pembelajaran dan angket respon siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa alat peraga yang dikembangkan dapat meningkatkan KPS siswa dengan nilai gain mencapai 0,85 yang (kriteria tinggi).
