This report details the findings of the Global Tracer Survey 2022 of alumni from the Australia Awards and predecessor development scholarships. The research was undertaken by the Australia Awards Global Tracer Facility (GTF), which is managed by the Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER). The survey was administered online between November 2022 and January 2023 to alumni from 114 countries who had studied in Australia as part of a scholarship or fellowship. To improve understanding of alumni outcomes and experiences, the Australia Awards Global Tracer Facility (GTF) is running a survey of Australia Awards Pacific Scholarship and Australian Regional Development Scholarship alumni in July 2021. The survey will provide insight into the long-term outcomes of the AAPS and ARDS, with findings to be provided in a region-level and country-level reports. This project will help fill a gap in the knowledge of DFAT and Posts about this particular group of alumni.

The COVID-19 pandemic has interrupted schooling for students globally and challenged how policy-makers might respond and recover from this protracted emergency. In collaboration with NEQMAP, the GEM Centre has conducted a rapid review of policy and practice documents for 14 countries, and an online survey with policy-makers in 7 of them to identify the types of flexible learning strategies that were implemented over the course of this pandemic. An education in emergencies Policy Monitoring Framework was used both to guide the analysis of documents and survey data, and to provide the basis for reporting findings. The present publication documents the achievements and lessons learned from the first phase of the Survey of Teachers in Pre-primary Education (STEPP) project, implemented by UNESCO from 2016 to 2019, with the participation of seven countries, namely, the Dominican Republic, Ghana, Indonesia, Namibia, the Philippines, Togo, and Viet Nam. It is the first international survey for low-and-middle-income countries designed to collect information that is known to affect the quality of pre-primary education from pre-primary teachers and centre heads. There is a need for interprofessional learning in public health, and healthcare education and study abroad opportunities provide a unique context in which interprofessional programming can be integrated into the learning experience. Public health training programs have an important role in furthering interprofessional learning. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to describe a short-term study abroad course to examine students’ perceptions of interprofessional learning readiness after ten-day travel to Geneva. Mixed-methods design with pre- and post-assessments was used. The Readiness for Interprofessional Learning Survey was used to assess interprofessional learning of eleven participants.
