An Assessment Of Persistence For Domestic And International Western Kentucky University Edd Students, Christy L. Spurlock, Jia Pei

The purpose of the study was to identify the barriers and challenges to EdD completion. Respondents helped identify which retention resources or actions would be most effective in keeping them enrolled and on track to degree completion. The EdD program director, EdD faculty, and WKU will be able to use information from the study to develop retention resources, intervention strategies, and perhaps make even more sweeping changes to confront the obstacles to EdD persistence.
