An academic library may have hundreds of database subscriptions. Librarians create dozens of research guides to point the way to the best resources for subjects and classes. But manually creating links between appropriate library resources and the hundreds of college courses offered every semester is prohibitively labor intensive. The answer is to automate that linking process. Learning Tools Interoperability (LTI) allows applications to interact with learning management systems (LMS) in defined ways.
