The current study aimed to identify the role of Omani universities in developing the competencies of scientific research among master’s students from their perspectives. The study relied on the descriptive approach. A questionnaire was built consisting of (33) items. The final sample of the study was (145) students, studying in Omani universities during the academic year 2020/2021. The study concluded that the role of Omani universities in developing the competencies of scientific research among master’s students from their perspectives came at the “medium” level.
