Experimental Research On The Teaching Mode Of Cooperation And Competition In Physical Education, Xuelin Pang, Zhengze Zhang

International Journal of Physical Activity and Health

There are great differences in skill levels among students in the class. It should be the focus of our work to improve students to the greatest extent through teaching, gradually narrow the gap between individuals, and improve the overall teaching quality. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to examine the effects of the teaching mode of cooperation and competition. The research group conducted two rounds of teaching experiments in Harbin Engineering University. The first round of experiments adopted an equal group pre-test and post-test experimental design. Solomon’s four group design was used in the second round of experiment. The …

Eurasian Journal of Sport Science

Purpose: Study and analysis of the theory of preparation of young weightlifters for competition activities

Methods: A specially developed training program is included in the training plan of young weightlifters (5 times a week). Before the start of the study, the prescribed norms were observed. After the study, the differences were studied. From the exercises, the number of attempts and intensity were selected mainly according to the methods of counting. the amount of training was calculated based on the number of barbell lifts in weekly weightlifters.

Results: A comparative analysis of the results showed that during the experiment, the participant …

Baltic Journal of Health and Physical Activity

ackground: Judokas have thrown opponents using various techniques. The researchers’ interest in the classified technique remained relevant. No previous study has investigated the contribution of an unclassified technique to high-level judo. Aim: This work assessed the share of classified and unclassified techniques of Nage-waza on the volume of attack activity, technical repertoire, and effectiveness of medalists at Athens 2004, Beijing 2008, London 2012, and Rio de Janeiro 2016. Material and methods: The analysis focused on 3,664 Nage-waza actions, including 2,146 classified actions and 1,518 unclassified actions, performed by 112 male medalists in 575 contests. Teachers’ Perceptions Of Educational Games That Keep Score Of Cooperative Performances, Theodore Alden Wohlfarth Jul 2017

Teachers’ Perceptions Of Educational Games That Keep Score Of Cooperative Performances, Theodore Alden Wohlfarth

Dissertations

The scoring systems used in traditional sports and games are founded on the zero-sum premise that players are on opposite sides and one side can win only if the other side loses. These scoring systems may be effective at nurturing zero-sum mindsets and providing data for assessing performance in win-lose relationships. If so, games that use different scoring systems can be used to facilitate the development of collaborative mindsets, nurture win-win skills between diverse groups, and enable objective self-assessment of performances in non-zero-sum events when engaging with those on “other sides.” Although economic game theory has rich reservoirs of research …
