Purpose: Study and analysis of the theory of preparation of young weightlifters for competition activities

Methods: A specially developed training program is included in the training plan of young weightlifters (5 times a week). Before the start of the study, the prescribed norms were observed. After the study, the differences were studied. From the exercises, the number of attempts and intensity were selected mainly according to the methods of counting. the amount of training was calculated based on the number of barbell lifts in weekly weightlifters.

Objective: The goal of this study was to evaluate the impact of a Play Lü inter-team competition exergame on adolescents’ moderate-to-vigorous physical activity (MVPA) and situational interest (SI).

Materials and Methods: A total of 110 students (M_age = 13.7 ± 1.1, 12-16 years, 53.7 % girls, M_BMI = 19.9 ± 3.2) from a secondary school located in Switzerland participated to the study. The scoring systems used in traditional sports and games are founded on the zero-sum premise that players are on opposite sides and one side can win only if the other side loses. These scoring systems may be effective at nurturing zero-sum mindsets and providing data for assessing performance in win-lose relationships.
