The study explored the effect of Internet access on academic performance of Rhema University Students. The descriptive survey design was adopted with four (4) research questions that guided the study. 252 students of Rhema University who registered with the university library for the 2020/2021 academic session constituted the population of the study and they were all studied without sample as the population was manageable. The instrument for data collection was structured questionnaire which was administered to the respondents by the researcher. Adaptive Learning (AL), a new web-based online learning environment, requires self-regulated learners who act autonomously. However, to date, there appears to be no existing model to conceptualize different aspects of SRL skills in Adaptive Learning Environments (ALE). The purpose of this study was to design and empirically evaluate a theoretical model of Self-Regulated Learning (SRL) in ALE's and the related questionnaire as a measurement tool.
