This study aimed at exploring the degree of teachers’ readiness in the Lower Basic Grade of governmental schools in Nablus Directorate of Education for employing e-learning through investigating their attitudes towards e-learning, level of their competencies in addition to the degree of obstacles facing the teachers in applying e-learning. The present study aimed to investigate the extent of using social networks for learning by Preparatory Year students at King Saud University and the obstacles they face in this usage. To achieve this aim, a questionnaire was developed, validated, and distributed by the researcher to (434) Preparatory Year students at King Saud University. The results revealed that the use of social networks by Preparatory Year students at King Saud University, as well as the obstacles for this use, are of average extent.
