The article aimed to reveal the availability of reengineering the competencies of educational leaders in the Jordanian Ministry of Education based on contemporary leadership trends. The study population is all leaders in the Ministry of Education Center for the year 2020/2022. The researcher used the developmental survey method, and a questionnaire was developed that confirmed its validity and stability. The Study community is (260) individuals from all leaders in the ministry. Results: The reality of the availability of engineering competencies among the educational leaders in the ministry was medium, with statistically significant differences. The current study aimed to identify the role of Omani universities in developing the competencies of scientific research among master’s students from their perspectives. The study relied on the descriptive approach. A questionnaire was built consisting of (33) items. The final sample of the study was (145) students, studying in Omani universities during the academic year 2020/2021.
