Positive Alternatives: A K-12 Model Program To Counteract Gangs And Youth Violence, Kathleen J. Heaton-Bailey

The purpose of this project was to design and develop a K-12 inservice, prevention, and intervention model to counteract gangs and youth violence. To accomplish this purpose, a review of current literature regarding gangs and youth violence was conducted and related materials from selected inservice, prevention, and intervention programs was reviewed and assessed. The model was designed for implementation in the Highline School District and other Washington State school districts.
