By this time, he made the decision to join the Christian Brothers and began this process for about a year before attending La Salle College. Stephen Francis Andrilli was born in August 1952 in Bryn Mawr, PA. He was born to Francis and Leatrice Andrilli. Frank McKee was born in Philadelphia, PA in 1948. His father was a World World II veteran and battery worker, his mother a key-punch operator and homemaker. Growing up in Olney, only fifteen minutes from La Salle’s campus, Frank attended Catholic schools his entire childhood. In 1967 he enrolled at La Salle as an English major but always knew that education was his true passion. Frank lived off campus and worked throughout his undergraduate experience, however, La Salle remained a social hub for him. He graduated from West Catholic High School for Boys in 1977 and La Salle University with a B.A. in Religion and Psychology in 1981, and later earned a Masters Degree in Pastoral Studies in 1992. John McCloskey was born in 1920 in Philadelphia’s Olney section. Born into a working-class Irish Catholic family, McCloskey moved to Cornwell Heights, Pennsylvania, in Bucks County, in 1924. He graduated from Northeast Catholic High School in 1938. He held several jobs before settling in at Crown Cork & Seal’s seamless can manufacturing plant located at I Street and Erie Avenue in Philadelphia’s Kensington section. Brother Carl Clayton was born George Clayton in 1938, the youngest of four boys, whose family resided in Baltimore, Maryland.
