The purpose of this case study is to discover how the characteristics of a courageous follower are presented in the work of support staff in student involvement offices at select Midwest community colleges. This qualitative case study is relevant to grounded theory and provides a method to cultivate concepts from data to further recognize the representation of courageous followership characteristics. The research participants were four male and five female student affairs professionals working in student involvement offices.
