Athletics can have a profoundly positive impact on high school students and can be an avenue for the athletes to attend college. However, some athletes struggle to cope with the demands of athletics and this is especially true for Black male athletes who are already members of a historically marginalized community. The purpose of this study is to examine the support that the Academic Success Center (ASC) offers for students and its impact on their academic outcomes and self-efficacy.
