Universities have always been international in the sense that the very nature of knowledge imparted by them does not know national boundaries. The connection between university and universalism is self-evident. However, internationalization as an operational expansion of particular universities beyond national boundaries is a relatively new phenomenon. This paper offers a comparison of the accreditation standards of three CHEA and US Department of Education recognized business school program accreditation agencies - AACSB, ACBSP, and IACBE. It also discusses the relative challenges and benefits of achieving accreditation by these agencies. While the choice for business schools is often not very clear and is a long drawn negotiated process involving different interest groups, this paper will nevertheless offer some basis of comparison among the accreditation agencies. Universities around the world are internationalizing themselves at a higher pace than even seen before. Faculty support is recognized as critical for the success of the internationalization mission. However, faculty motivation and commitment are often taken for granted; administrators direct most of their attention to tackling partnership issues and managing the external environment. This paper unravels certain critical issues associated with faculty support for internationalization in a small private university located in a US jurisdiction area. The purpose of this quantitative descriptive study is to investigate certain issues related to cultural boundedness in ethical decision making. Omani and American cultural and ethical differences exist, but a serious challenge arises in that very little research exists to identify under which circumstances these differences will affect decision making skills, and how these decision outcomes may impact internationally accepted best business practices (BBP).
