The Art Curriculum As A Model Approach For Cultivating Higher Order Thinking Skills, Nicole Ross
The Art Curriculum As A Model Approach For Cultivating Higher Order Thinking Skills, Nicole Ross
Masters Theses, 2010-2019
As a life-long learner, I am fascinated by the abyss of knowledge that characterizes and composes a life of consciousness. As a teacher and mentor, I am committed to igniting this quest for knowledge in others and developing effective practices in doing so. The curriculum functions as an invitation to knowledge—or what can be seen as the crux of an education. A Natural Pairing: Social Justice And Theatre Education, Danielle Wright
Theses and Dissertations
Social justice curricula are often solely geared toward middle and high school students. I intend to prove that a social justice curriculum can be creatively paired with a theatre curriculum. This reflection brings together the reasons I chose the works in my portfolio to represent my initial discomfort …

Articulating Digital Archival Practice Within Writing Program Administration: A Theoretical Framework, Amanda Girard
Dissertations, Master's Theses and Master's Reports
Throughout Writing Program Administration scholarship there has been a clear call for archivization and archival work. This dissertation project takes an interdisciplinary approach to digital archival practices for Writing Program Administrators to consider and employ in their home institutions. While I recognize that WPAs are not typically identified as “archivists,” I situate the digital archive within the digital humanities as an interdisciplinary, collaborative project and offer suggestions that lead to recommendations for making an institutional archive. I review archival practice in order to justify the digital archive as an appropriate vehicle for WPAs’ work. Further, I argue that the digital …
