This thesis covers the history of the Gamergate movement, its impact on women working in the video game industry, and how the television show Mythic Quest portrays both through its representation of game developer companies. By taking information and content from episodes in Mythic Quest, to diving deep on research about Gamergate and the history of the gaming industry in the last decade, I found that Mythic Quest effectively depicted the gaming industry and its representation of women.
