CREATE: Art Studio and Workshop is a privately-owned art studio that hosts classes, workshops, and camps for both children and adults of varying skill levels. They offer topics such as painting, drawing, hand lettering, and other mixed media options. Although they teach courses for all age groups, their primary focus is the children’s classes. CREATE is owned by two Perrysburg moms: Deborah Lambdin and Kerry Wellstein. They founded the studio in 2014 and are currently in their fifth year of business. The purpose of this research and project is to better understand how and whether the combination of Visual Thinking Strategies (VTS) and student artwork can enhance teachers' knowledge of attitudes toward individual children, and whether it encourages teachers to include the arts as well as VTS processes in their classrooms.

A museum studies curriculum for seventh and eighth graders. This curriculum is in the form of a case study and was conducted over a three year period at Montclair Cooperative School with Montclair Art Museum. Through regular visits to the museum students explored the roles of artist, docent, and curator. Students did the following tasks: discussed and made art, created exhibits, wrote interpretive wall labels for exhibitions, and became docents for younger students.

The narrative content of preschool children's drawing is the focus of this study. The purpose of this study was to raise educators, preschool teachers and parents awareness of the narrative content of preschool children’s drawings and to alert them to how children of this age communicate through their drawings. A school with an operational pre-primary class was selected from the Northern Metropolitan education district of Perth. Twelve pre-school children were selected on the basis of their participation in drawing activities. The researcher observed the children at work over a period of eight sessions.
