This is a timely research project – the study of the disciplinary practices and processes of the design studio. From my experiences of over 2 decades teaching at three institutions (22 at this central coast university) and a similar number of years working as a practicing architect, this research comes at an important time — since this learning environment has not been the focus of much prior research.
