The Marguerite Tolbert Papers consist of biographical data, newspaper and magazine articles, photographs, a copy of her thesis titled, A Survey of Negro Elementary Schools of Oconee County (1940), a scrapbook, and other papers, mainly relating to her career as an educator and to her student days at Winthrop (1911-1914).
