This document provides tips and recommendations for advisors to better help their pre-veterinary medicine students. After reviewing numerous resources and conducting a survey with GVSU advisors and pre-veterinary students, I identified gaps in knowledge and compiled tips and information about preparing for veterinary school to increase the advisors' knowledge for the benefit of current of future GVSU pre-veterinary students.
