Ticket scalping is a growing epidemic that has become more specialized in the online market. The online secondary ticket market thrives on consumer demand. It has been discovered that this demand in the online market is driven by factors such as trust, risk, time (availability), and popularity of the website. A cross sectional survey, using St. John Fisher students, faculty, and staff, uncovered what online secondary ticketing platform consumers use most, and why.
