JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. – For Katie Gouge, a 2020 University of Tennessee graduate, there were plenty of factors she considered when applying to graduate school. 

Ultimately, she chose East Tennessee State University’s Master of Public Administration program – a decision she is glad she made.

JOHNSON CITY (April 22, 2022) – Undergraduate and graduate students attending East Tennessee State University this fall will not see an increase in tuition. 

During its quarterly meeting today, the ETSU Board of Trustees voted not to increase tuition and fees for the 2022-23 academic year. This decision applies to all in-state and out-of-state undergraduate students and graduate students, with the exception of those attending Gatton College of Pharmacy and Quillen College of Medicine. The Board also approved the 2022-23 operating budget, which goes into effect July 1.
