Despite considerable research on the factors influencing the use of e-government, citizens are apprehensive of e-government services due to the concerns primarily related to trust, risk, security and privacy. This study presents a meta-analytic structural equation modeling (MASEM) analysis of the findings reported by 68 prior empirical studies on e-government adoption. Specifically, the model examined the direct effects of trust in government, trust in internet, perceived risk, and perceived privacy and security on e-government trust, and its impact on users’ behavioral intention to use e-government. The findings bear significant theoretical and practical implications.

The research focuses on understanding the benefits, challenges, and long-term implications of AI utilization in these sectors. Key findings indicate that 46% of participants use AI mainly for task automation and enhancing functions like brainstorming and communication, which significantly boosts efficiency and team productivity. Despite these benefits, the research identifies several obstacles, including high initial costs, inadequate training, technical issues, and unclear regulatory guidelines. Drawing inspiration from bureaucracy and information security literature, we develop the theory of security bureaucracy—an evolutionary framework that describes how organizations arrive at their information-securing approaches. Within this framework, we describe three general bureaucratic archetypes (i.e., Security Prototype, Security Structure, and Security Superstructure) that emerge from the interplay between control and expertise. We also expound on the phenomenon of security bureaucracy and delineate how organizations can transition from coercive “iron cages” to enabling “iron shields” in information securing. In the dynamic digital marketplace, content moderation policies, specifically those addressing 'review bomb' removal, are designed to improve customer experience, nurture consumer trust, and enhance firm performance. However, our comprehensive research, comprising three studies utilizing real-world field data analyzed through regression discontinuity-in-time design and experimental investigations, reveals a surprisingly striking paradox. In contrast to their intended benefits, these policies yield an unexpected adverse impact on user behavior, the e-commerce platform, and listed product performance, resulting in a significant 27.25% drop in total users for products on the e-commerce platform. This study examines the entrepreneurial intentions of Austrian secondary school students, specifically comparing students from commercial schools with those from general education schools. We analyzed 2,329 data sets and found that subjective beliefs, primarily behavioral and control beliefs, significantly influence entrepreneurial intentions. In addition, demographic factors such as gender, language, acquaintance with entrepreneurs, and school type play a significant role in explaining the variance in entrepreneurial intentions.

Our detailed analysis shows that students from commercial schools have stronger entrepreneurial intentions and subjective beliefs. Particularly notable are the differences in behavioral beliefs, where students from commercial schools find all aspects of …

Over two decades ago, guided by Randles and Thachenkary’s (2002) four-stage model, a video analysis of medical diagnostic teleconsultations was conducted. From this analysis came the knowledge combustion analogy of Randles and Fadlalla (2004) and the knowledge chemistry approach.
