The absence of market makers alters the microstructure of the market. It’s difficult to get exposed to time-weighted prices in markets without market makers. In this paper, we delve into three mechanism designs – discrete gradual dutch auction, continuous gradual dutch auction, and variable rate gradual dutch auction – to study how to execute time-weighted sell orders on blockchain in a market without market makers. An Econometric Evaluation Of Localism And Other Potential Success Factors In California’S Craft Brewing Industry, Connor Sinclair

As growth of the American craft brewing industry slows and smaller firms account for a greater proportion of expansion, I test whether traits that are indicative of smaller firms have an effect on brewery success. I hypothesize that firms which utilize localist strategies such as geographical branding, use of local ingredients, charitable giving, and/or sustainable practices are more successful than others and therefore produced more barrels of beer in 2017. To test my hypothesis, I estimate ordinary least squares regressions with robust standard errors using data collected from the Brewers Association and the websites of 362 California craft breweries. The literature presented in the following pages explores the shortcomings of the American public education system in the context of creating long-term, sustainable social change. Using financial illiteracy and its relationship to low quality of life as an entry point, the first section exposes public schools’ shortcomings as agents of social change by delving into the hardships endured by the original public school promoters of the 19th century, the pitfalls of President George W. Library building usage data are weak. Electronic resource usage data are weak. We conduct occasional headcounts and receive sketchy COUNTER reports. These data lack needed specificity and can’t be correlated to each other, e.g.; what resources do the early birds who sit in the north commons use? Online streaming has revolutionized the way that people consume films and television. This study will examine how Netflix and Hulu have disrupted the North American distribution oligopoly and asses whether their low subscription prices are adversely affecting major cable companies who dominate the distribution sphere. Library headcounts are tedious, time-consuming, and subject to the vagaries of scheduling, attention to detail, and incomplete (especially for consortia). If we conduct them perfectly, on-schedule without fail we can gather at best the number of patrons seated in various areas of the library at two arbitrary times per day.
