Agricultural Cooperatives And Crop Marketing In Tanzania, Benson Otiene Ndiege Dr
Jurnal Vokasi Indonesia
Agricultural cooperatives have become essential tools in rural areas, fostering agricultural development. This study examines the marketing of farmers' produce by cooperatives in Tanzania. It specifically investigates the collection processes of agricultural produce through cooperatives and the importance of cooperative marketing during the 2023/24 to 2024/25 seasons. The study used a descriptive mixed-methods design that mixed both qualitative secondary data analysis and qualitative documentary review. As such, the study utilised secondary data from the Tanzania Cooperative Development Commission (TCDC) statistical database and the report on the performance of non-financial cooperatives in Tanzania in 2025. Analysis Of Venture Capital Investment For Financing The Development Of The Palm Oil Industry In Indonesia For Private Companies, Salvatore Yitro, Mustika Sari, Gunawan Saroji
CSID Journal of Infrastructure Development
Indonesia is the world's largest crude palm oil (CPO) producer, accounting for 58.04% of global output from 2018 to 2022 and generating between USD 18.2 billion and USD 28.95 billion in annual foreign exchange earnings from 2016 to 2021. The downstream sector, however, remains largely controlled by foreign markets, and private companies face restricted access to conventional bank financing due to negative campaigns against Indonesian palm oil in European markets. No prior study has examined the financial feasibility of venture capital as a financing mechanism for integrated downstream palm oil development by private companies in Indonesia. This study analysed that …

Factor And Demand Conditions Shaping Production Effectiveness In Remote Msmes: A Case Study Of Luci Snack In North Kalimantan, Saadiq Alhadi, Hasyim Asyari
Jurnal Vokasi Indonesia
The production effectiveness of agro-industrial MSMEs in remote frontier regions is severely hampered by geographic isolation and lack of basic infrastructure. This study examines the unique case of Luci Snack in North Kalimantan, operating without state electricity or land access. The research aims to analyze how the interaction between Factor Conditions (river logistics and technology) and Demand Conditions influences Production Effectiveness. Employing an embedded single-case study design, data were collected via in-depth interviews with the owner and village officials, participant observation, and documentation, then analyzed using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña (2014) interactive model. Findings reveal a paradox: (1) Production …

Women Empowerment Through Food Production Project In A Peri-Urban Landscape, Riyanto Adji
Women Empowerment Through Food Production Project In A Peri-Urban Landscape, Riyanto Adji
ASEAN Journal of Community Engagement
The paper discusses a community project related to local food production by a group of women in an idle peri-urban landscape. Instead of positioning women solely as homemakers within the house, this project views them as active participants of a peri- urban community. On the other hand, the availability of idle land in the peri-urban context can be utilized, allowing it to be transformed into an active space for growing food. Responding to the idea, a community project was conducted with a group of women farmers in a housing complex situated near the Bubulak Village, Bogor, Indonesia. They utilized an …

Scheme For The Development Of Sharia-Compliant Financial Inclusion For Farmers On Dryland Area Through The Optimization Of Biological Assets, Kartika Nur Rakhman, Nur Fatwa
Journal Of Middle East and Islamic Studies
Farmers in the Gunungkidul Regency are mostly categorized as impoverished. Resource constraints make it challenging for them to progress. One of the problems they face is the lack of capital for their businesses and daily needs. To meet these needs, they often resort to borrowing from loan sharks. This occurs partly due to the absence of assets they can use to access financing from Sharia-compliant financial institutions. This research aimed to assess the feasibility of biological assets, particularly teak trees (Tectona grandis), to be accepted as collateral in Sharia-compliant financing. Additionally, this study aimed to provide an alternative …
