This research aims to examine the influence of perceived value on both cognitive and affective impulse buying in omnichannel beauty retail in Indonesia using the S-O-R (Stimulus-Organism-Response) theory. By distributing questionnaires to 279 respondents who had shopped at Sociolla or Sephora, both online and offline, the study found that channel integration positively affects consumer empowerment, while convenience does not have a significant impact. Consumer empowerment influences satisfaction, trust, and perceived value. Additionally, trust positively impacts perceived value, but satisfaction does not show a significant effect. Research Aims: This study examines the determinants of impulsive buying behavior among skincare consumers—specifically Garnier buyers on TikTok Shop—using the SOR framework, and tests whether female consumers show higher impulsivity than males through gender moderation.

Design/methodology/approach: An online survey of 361 consumers who had purchased Garnier products via TikTok Shop’s live streaming feature was conducted. Five livestream stimulus factors—social interaction, streamer’s style, gratification, gamification, and visualization—were modeled as predictors of perceived hedonic value (PHV), which subsequently influences impulsive buying behavior (IBB) and user stickiness (US). Large-scale land concessions have reshaped agrarian landscapes globally, yet their implications for community land tenure, livelihoods, and nutrition remain unevenly understood. This dissertation examines how plantation agriculture and foreign investment have transformed land access, labor relations, and food systems in Liberia, a country with one of the highest proportions of land under concession globally. Guided by a political ecology framework, the study employs a mixed-methods design integrating policy analysis, in-depth interviews, and household surveys across two palm oil concession sites. The greenium, or green premium, refers to the lower yield that arises from a bond’s green label, conditional on otherwise identical contractual features and credit risk. In our study, we estimate the greenium by combining causal matching techniques with a neural network–based propensity score approach to construct a closely comparable set of green and conventional bonds. Our empirical framework incorporates issuer fixed effects and currency × issuance-year fixed effects, ensuring that our estimates reflect the impact of the green label itself rather than differences in macro-financial conditions or issuer composition.

Brand misconduct can trigger negative consumer responses and escalate into brand crises. Effective crisis management is therefore essential to mitigate such responses and enhance organisational resilience. This study investigates the impact of various crisis communication strategies on consumer engagement and subsequent brand cancellation, incorporating the mediating role of consumer engagement and the moderating influence of brand misconduct type. Two experimental studies using simple random sampling were conducted online. The findings reveal that crisis communication strategies exert significantly different effects on consumer engagement, which in turn negatively influences brand cancellation. This study examines volatility dynamics between the U.S. public real estate stock market and the broader equity market, with a focus on sectoral conditional volatility sensitivity to market conditional volatility across different volatility regimes. Using Excel’s =LAMBDA and =MAKEARRAY functions, user-defined functions are created to generate (1) sets of ratios covering net working capital, DuPont analysis, and leverage, and (2) a set of related cash flow calculations.

Computing and presenting related ratios and cash flows as a unified set allows for more efficient financial statement analysis.

User-defined functions can be copied from a referenced source file into any new spreadsheet, allowing immediate use in the new file because all associated programming is transferred.

Abstract: This paper offers a conceptual discussion of how mindfulness, understood as present moment awareness and deliberate attention regulation, can support cybersecurity professionals. Drawing on a narrative synthesis of workplace mindfulness, burnout, and high pressure decision making literature, we map plausible self regulation mechanisms to typical cyber defense tasks. Rather than presenting new empirical data, we develop an explanatory framework linking attention, reactivity, and recovery to decision quality, team communication, and adherence to incident playbooks.
