During the outbreak of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) medical institutions and practitioners have drastically increased their adoption of telemedicine. The proliferation of telemedicine systems has sparked renewed interest among IS researchers in evaluating its usage. One of the main indicators used to measure the success of telemedicine services is patient satisfaction. Yet several problems exist with current methods used to evaluate telemedicine satisfaction. Online Product Recommendations (OPRs) are increasingly available to online customers as a value-added self-service in evaluating and choosing a product. Research has highlighted several advantages that customers can gain from using OPRs. However, the realization of these advantages depends on whether and to what extent customers embrace and fully utilise them. The Role Of Confirmation In Is Continuance Theory: A Comprehensive Meta-Analysis, John Laugesen

This paper provides a meta-analysis of Information Systems Continuance (ISC) theory, specifically focusing on the relationships that Confirmation has with Satisfaction, Perceived Usefulness and Continuance Intention. A comprehensive literature review for the years 2001 to 2012 revealed 75 ISC studies from 72 papers. The results of this meta-analysis indicate the robustness of ISC theory and model, with large effect sizes for the three key relationships. Moderator analyses indicate larger effect sizes for nonconvenience samples (versus convenience samples) and educational/eLearning Information Systems and personal Information Systems (versus corporate Information Systems). In-room entertainment technology continues to evolve in the hotel industry. Statistical Process Control For The Engineering It Support Incident Life Cycle, Binay Anand, Christopher A. Chung

Journal of International Technology and Information Management

This paper describes a new Statistical Process Control technique to better manage the engineering Information Technology life cycle process. This includes the identification of the activities in the engineering IT support lifecycle initiation, reproduction, analysis and resolution phases. The performance of these lifecycle activities are analyzed using a highly modified Chart of Individuals, Statistical Process Control approach. This new type of SPC system can help engineering IT management to determine whether or not a support incident is in control. Out of control support incidents can then be investigated for special causes so that corrective action may be taken.
