This study develops an integrated optimization framework which supports the sustainable design of a food supply chain with three echelons: suppliers, a central manufacturer, and retailers. The model minimizes total cost and carbon emissions while simultaneously maximizing the share of products made with certified green processes, capturing economic, environmental, and social pillars of sustainability. Government policy is represented through two distinct incentives: a per-unit subsidy for green production and a per-use subsidy for alternative fuel vehicles, both directly reducing relevant costs in the decision space. The ENCLOTHE Open Educational Resource (OER) textbook was developed and implemented for a Fashion Show Theory and Production course at a Mid-Southern University in the United States. This case study examines the effectiveness of this specialized OER in addressing the unique needs of an upper-division capstone fashion course. The textbook, designed to replace a costly industry-focused resource, offers interactive modules, video clips, and assignments compatible with learning management systems. One reason that has been identified for the gender disparity in senior leadership positions is second-generation or implicit biases. Pilots' mental wellbeing has implications for airline business. The study draws on appraisal theory to test asymmetrical relationships between pilots’ cognitive flexibility, coping, and stress management, using fuzzy-set qualitative comparative analysis (fsQCA). Regression analysis was performed to provide comparison and insights into these relationships. The study was conducted with professional pilots who engaged in short, medium, and long-haul flights with commercial airlines. The results show that certain cognitive flexibility factors account for coping strategy options. Internships play a vital role in bridging the gap between academic knowledge and practical industry experience for hospitality business students. This study investigates the impact of internship experiences on workforce readiness, focusing on gender-based differences in perceived achievements and areas for improvement. Grounded in Experiential Learning Theory (ELT) and Work-Integrated Learning (WIL), the research examines how internships contribute to students’ career preparation. Notions of Global Production Networks (GPNs) are popular approaches to studying the complex, dispersed, and socially embedded production of goods and services. Yet, these concepts have largely struggled with incorporating environmental resources, risks, and actors. My dissertation leverages insights from Actor-Network Theory (ANT) to contextualize ecological elements of production as coequal participants with social stakeholders. I describe how GPNs are ecologically embedded and nested within the natural environment. I draw from ANT to develop a GPN framework that internalizes ecological dimensions. The paper aims at elucidating and solving the methodological problems around the estimation of the cost of capital in the project finance settings. By convention, capital budgeting analysts evaluate project finance ventures using the free cash flow for equity (FCFE) method, whereby cash flows, including cash, whose distribution is limited by debt covenants, are discounted with the project’s cost of equity. We argue that this approach is erroneous. From the standpoint of the sponsor company, only distributable cash flows should be taken into consideration when evaluating project finance ventures. This study investigates factors influencing urban Indian consumers’ electric motorcycle purchase intentions amid growing sustainable transportation demands. Building on the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), the research integrates core constructs—Perceived Usefulness, Perceived Ease of Use, and Attitude—with two contextual variables, including Consumer Awareness and Perceived Trust. A quantitative survey was distributed via Google Forms to 153 urban residents across Indian cities, with a GPower analysis confirming adequate statistical power for regression modeling. This research aims to explore how economic, social, psychological, and training and development factors influence employee turnover intentions in five-star Malaysian hotels. Data was collected through questionnaires and distributed to 120 employees using convenience sampling, and SPSS was used to perform the data analysis.
