Due to the growing number of articles in this fast-evolving domain, it is critical to examine the current body of knowledge thoroughly. The knowledge structure and dissemination channels in this field have been systematically examined for the first time. Accounting research examines accountability in the healthcare field but little attention is paid to how contemporary regulatory innovations (e.g. AI-driven data algorithms) impact accountability objectives. We address this concern through a study of how regulatory innovations may appropriate accountability by (de)legitimising healthcare actions. This is examined in the case of a regulatory innovation enacted in the US healthcare sector. Specifically, we employ a field study of a healthcare provider subject to oversight to highlight how actors (de)legitimise the provision of healthcare services. Past research has shown that immigrant homeownership indicates advanced consumer acculturation. However, critical factors which differentiate immigrant decisions to purchase a home remain underexplored. This study aims to examine the importance of different identity resources in determining homeownership gaps between immigrant groups in Spain during a dynamic decade.

There is growing recognition that effective project control systems (PCS) are critical to the success of projects. The relationship between the individual elements of PCS and successfully achieving project objectives has yet to be explored. This research investigates the enablers and barriers that influence the elements of PCS success and drive project objectives.

The purpose of the research is to explore the experiences of mature part-time culinary arts degree students in Ireland to examine the phenomenon of professionalism. While other researchers have sought the views of culinary arts educators and practitioners, the student voice is underexplored. The research focuses on a particular context: a major transition in the participants’ lives: their return to education, while working full-time as chefs. Their experiences are considered unique since they, as a group, navigate between two worlds: industry and academia. The number of health care educational institutions/organizations adopting implicit bias training is growing. Our systematic review of 77 studies (published 1 January 2003 through 21 September 2022) investigated how implicit bias training in health care is designed/delivered and whether gaps in knowledge translation compromised the reliability and validity of the training. The primary training target was race/ethnicity (49.3%); trainings commonly lack specificity on addressing implicit prejudice or stereotyping (67.5%). They involved a combination of hands-on and didactic approaches, lasting an average of 343.15 min, often delivered in a single day (53.2%). This study presents a two-stage decision support system (DSS) that uses machine learning and neuroimaging for early AD detection and monitoring. The first stage uses deep learning for predicting AD likelihood. The second leverages a 3D convolutional neural network to identify crucial brain regions in AD progression. Notably, the DSS offers a solution to machine learning's "black box" problem using an occlusion map explainability method, enhancing decision transparency. Applying the flow theory, this study examined how copresence improved the subjective well-being of users through flow and escapism. An online self-administered survey of 249 US adults who are currently using metaverse platforms is conducted. The collected data are analyzed by SPSS, AMOS and PROCESS. Findings suggest that the feeling of being together with other users in a metaverse can influence consumers’ satisfaction with their lives. Copresence in the metaverse specifically enhanced flow, which is being immersed in the experience; and escapism, which is avoiding unpleasant realities. Copresence and flow were found to improve the subjective well-being of metaverse users. …

Our model, which is nonlinear, incorporates five key discoveries. We focused on predicting the average weekly closing price (pWCP) of AbbVie Inc. This study explores how perceived scarcity of AI-designed clothing influences purchase intention, mediated by perceived monetary value. Fashion involvement's moderating role is also examined. Participants (N = 311), sourced from Amazon Mechanical Turk, watched an AI clothing design video, and evaluated a jacket that is designed by AI. Responses on perceived scarcity, monetary value, purchase intentions, and fashion involvement were collected using Likert scales. Analyzing data with SPSS 28.0 and the PROCESS Macro Model 8 with 5,000 bootstrap samples suggested that although the scarcity of an AI-designed clothing alone may not significantly increase purchase intentions, fashion brands can leverage the …
